Trichloroacetic acid - a derivative of acetic acid which is the strongest acid of organic origin used in cosmetics and aesthetic medicine. Causes chemical damage to epidermis, which can even reach the papillary layer of the dermis. Initiates auto-repair processes involving complete replacement of damaged cells and deep skin redermination. It positively influences skin metabolism and structure, stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis and replenishes endogenous hyaluronic acid.
Mandelic acid - AHA acid of high gradation and high safety profile, obtained from bitter almonds. Increases cell proliferation and replacement with low levels of skin irritation.
